The company develops, manufactures and sells on the world market more than 300 types of additives known worldwide under the brand name "Oronite" for fuels and lubricants. Additives are developed for all types of petrol and diesel engines, as well as for engines running on natural gas, as well as for other lubricants, such as hydraulic fluids, lubricants

In the region of Central and Eastern Europe Oronite conducts its trading activities for more than 20 years. Oronite production facilities in Europe are located in France in Gonfreville L'orcher, near Le Havre.


History Of Chevron

 

The history of Chevron dates back to 1879. It was then in Los Angeles, California, registered the Pacific Ost Oil Company, which became the parent of a huge modern Corporation.

 

1900 – John D. Rockefeller acquired a young and promising company and included it in his "Standard oil" trust. ».

 

1901 – opening by the captain A. F. Lucas flowing well on Spindletop Hill. The capacity of the well: 50 thousand barrels, and this fact shaked the United States, starting the famous Texas "oil fever". 1902 – Joseph Cullinan together with his partner Arnold Schlaet founded the Texas company, and after a month it merged the Texas Fuel Co.

 

1903 – Texas Company discovered its first huge oil field in Saur Lake, Texas.

 

1905 – in Antwerp (Belgium) the ceremonial opening of the international terminal took place.

 

1911 – transformation of Texas Company into Standard oil company of California. Promotion of the company's products in the US, the opening of the first refuelling station in New York (Brooklyn).

 

1918 – the first development of process of synthetic manufacture of gasoline for commercial purposes.

 

1928 – the Corporation was joined by the giant of the market California Petroleum. Sales markets are expanded to all existing at that point of time 48 States of America.

 

1920-30s – the first international investment in geological exploration were made. Researches were bearing fruits – the first large oilfields in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain were being discovered. In the Middle East operations were progressing at a rapid pace, bringing the region to the forefront in the global flow of oil production.

 

1931 – the Standard Stations inc., a symbol of which becomes chevron, was founded. This element was intended to attract the attention of drivers, which blasted past refuelling stations at a speed of up to 25 miles (40 kilometers) per hour.

 

1936 – the Standard Oil and Texaco companies jointly founded the Caltex enterprise and developed the markets of Africa, Europe and Asia under this brand

 

During the Second World war, trade actively continued around the world, and, despite the dangers and attacks from the side of aircraft and submarines, Tankers of Texaco Corporation and Chevron successfully transported goods to Europe (Malta). After World War II, geological survey of companies around the world was increasing. As the result the most important discoveries of rich oil deposits occur in Australia, Indonesia, the Gulf of Mexico and off the coast of Britain in the North sea. 1944 – in Indonesia the well-known "Caltex" field was opened.

1959 – Texas Co company was renamed Texaco Inc.

 

1963 – for more efficient management of oil refineries in Sumatra, Texaco and Socal companies founded the "Caltex Pacific Indonesia" ("KPI") productive trust.

 

1974 – new deposits "Nonian" and "Tartan" were discovered in the North sea in the territorial waters of Great Britain. Socal works as the operator and partner of Texaco and the oil industry in the North sea made a major change in the economy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain.

 

1983 – for the first time in its history Texaco company signed the most important oil contract with the Chinese government.

 

1984 – Standard oil Company of California made rebranding. The company kept the world-famous Chevron logo and was renamed Chevron.

 

1988 – Chevron acquires assets of the gas giant Tenneco Inc. with the largest fields on the territory of the shelf of the Gulf of Mexico. This makes Chevron one of the largest gas producers in the United States

 

1993 – Chevron Corporation signs an important contract with the government of Kazakhstan. Newly minted Kazakh-American JV "Tengizchevroil" began the development of a large-scale oil field Tengiz.

 

2001 – Chevron – one of the largest corporations in the world made merger with the Corporation Texaco, which brings their association under the brand ChevronTexaco to the first place among the largest energy corporations in the world. In parallel with this event, the strategically important construction of an export pipeline in Russia and Kazakhstan was being completed. Thanks to the Caspian pipeline consortium, the Tengiz field connects with the Black sea coast of Russia.

 

May 9, 2005 – ChevronTexaco Corporation was transformed into Chevron Corporation, which retains the glory of the world's largest integrated energy Corporation in the world. This means that Chevron Corporation consolidates all parts of the oil refining and petroleum business, starting from geological exploration to the direct sale of fuel and oil to millions of consumers from all over the world.
